  • When you place an order with us we collect, your name, company name, phone number(s) billing/delivery address.
  • When you enquire with us about a product we collect, your name, email address, phone number(s) and delivery address (if you provide it) such as if you require an accurate lead time based on your location.
  • If you have a web account with us, we’ll also keep an encrypted record of your password.
  • Details of interactions either through phone or in person; for example, we may keep written notes of any comments, complaints or details of what you were interested in, in the form of internal notes.

When you order a product from us we use your personal data to:

5. How long do we keep your personal data?

When we collect and process your personal data, we keep it only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

For Orders:

For items ordered from us we keep your personal data for 10 years which is in line with our warranty period on our products as well as meeting our other legal obligations.

For Enquiries:

We will delete your personal data two years after our last correspondence, so if you enquired about a staircase or stair parts, we will delete all records of our correspondence two years after the last communication between us.

6. Who do we share your personal data with?

We sometimes share your personal data with trusted third parties, for example, delivery couriers.

We never share your personal details with anyone unless it is required in order for us to for fill our obligation to process and deliver your order and we only share with them the data they require to for fill their role and we work closely with them to ensure that your privacy is respected and protected at all times.

7. Your rights over personal data

From the 25th of May 2018 your rights over access to personal data stored by businesses changes because of the new EU data rules known as GDPR.

This mean you’re entitled to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you, free of charge
  • Correct any incorrect or out of date or incomplete data
  • Withdraw consent for us to store personal data (within the constraints of the law) to be “forgotten”
  • That we stop using your data for marketing
